Past projects from 10 years living in NYC include her Global Soul live band, Sierra & the Nomads, touring internationally with the activist performance troupe Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir, her HipHop/Pop duo with Brooklyn Shanti "The Tape Deck Prophets,"  and singing with the international reggae band, Meta & the Cornerstones.

Sierra has performed at NYC venues such as Brooklyn Bowl, B.B.Kings, NuBlu, Joe's Pub, High Line Ballroom, Webster Hall, Grand Central Station,  Summer on the Hudson Pier I, Celebrate Brooklyn at the Prospect Park Bandshell.  She has also performed at the Greek Theatre (Berkeley, CA, opening for Neil Young with Reverend Billy),  REDCAT Los Angeles, Burningman (NV), Latitude Fest (UK), The Secret Garden Party (UK), The FRINGE Festival (UK),  All Songs Considered NPR, Wanderlust Yoga Festival (Oahu),Maui Arts & Cultural Center, 92Y Tribeca, Le Poisson Rouge & Global Fest NYC.
Her music has also brought her to perform in Senegal- West Africa, South Africa, Germany, Amsterdam and the UK. Her original music has streamed on BBC Radio. 

Since living on Maui she has been a Music, Dance and Poetry Arts Educator in the Schools and at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.
